Endelig kommer Bill Frisell til MaiJazz! Han har vært en av verdens ledende gitarister siden 80-tallet så det er på høy tid at MaiJazz publikummet får oppleve denne eminente gitaristen. 2 år med pandemi har dessverre gjort ventetiden enda lenger. Nå er han klar for MaiJazz 2022. Bill Frisell har opp i gjennom årene vært første valget som gitarist med storheter som Paul Simon, Jan Garbarek, David Sylvian, Arild Andersen, Elvis Castello og Marianne Faithfull for å nevne noen.
