Nils Henrik Asheim leads the conversation with Mike Fletcher and a bunch of musicians from the Kitchen Orchestra. Silent Form has grown out of a research project based on Ornette Coleman’s early recordings, where an attempt has been made to get to the bottom of themes around composition, structure, form, interaction, and not least… free jazz. Nils Henrik puts on the critical composition and musician hat and asks what Fletcher and co actually found out?
