In a short space of time, Australian Sarah McKenzie has become a firm favourite on the jazz scene. Some years ago, she performed at the Umbria jazz festival in Italy, made an impression and was rewarded with a grant to attend the iconic Berklee College of Music in the USA. She was quickly snapped up by Impulse Records, releasing a critically acclaimed album that was voted best jazz vocal album in Australia. She is now touring globally and making a stop at MaiJazz to charm us with classic tune from composers such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Henry Mancini, Duke Ellington and Jerome Kern.
