Equinor Storband is looking forward to presenting an exciting free outdoor concert in the center of Stavanger, Torget, Saturday May 4, at 12:00 (subject to weather conditions).
Equinor Storband was established in March 1990 and is in its best form. The band members are all employees or former employees of Statoil/Equinor. Under conductor/saxophonist Tor Yttredal’s expert leadership, the band has developed its own sound inspired by the great big band leaders.
The band will serve the public real big band jazz ranging from Charles Mingus to the great jazz vocalists such as Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra.
