Dominic Miller is perhaps best known as Sting’s faithful guitarist, but he is first and foremost a highly fascinating solo artist who has released no less than12 albums under his own name.
He was born in Buenos Aires to an American father and an Irish mother and studied guitar at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston and at the London Guildhall School of Music. He has been a sought-after session musician since the late ´80s, spanning multiple genres. He has worked with musical titans such as Phil Collins, The Chieftains, Bryan Adams, Paul Young, Nigel Kennedy, Peter Gabriel, and Tina Turner, to name but a few.
Dominic Miller has been involved in every Sting album since the 1991 album “The Soul Cages” and has performed over a thousand concerts with the former “Police” singer, as well as co-writing hit songs such as “Shape Of My Heart.”
With his new album “Vagabond,” he has created a fascinating sound blend of jazz, pop, acoustic folk music, contemporary classical, and Latin elements.
Miller is known for his subtle and expressive playing style, and his ability to create atmospheric and emotionally charged compositions has made him a highly sought-after guitarist, both as a soloist and as a collaborator.
